Introduction:
The demand of today's commercial environment on company organizations has
escalated. This has caused customers to become increasingly dependent on the
services of ISO accredited companies as a measure of reliability,
consistency & commitment to quality supply. As Directors and Managers have
become increasingly event driven by internal priorities & the ever-changing
marketplace, it has become more difficult to devote the time & resources
required to develop & maintain an Accredited Management System. An external
review of your current Management System or the introduction of a unique
system tailored to suit your company needs, can therefore prove invaluable.
Operating throughout the U.K, QM.UK offer services designed to improve both
the efficiency & profitability of your company, compliant with the essence
of the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Definition:
ISO 9001:2000 is an internationally recognized Standard. It is a document,
which defines the elements of organization required by a company to operate
& maintain a Quality Management System, i.e. Management Responsibility,
Resource Management, Product Realization, Measurement, Analysis &
Improvement.
For the purpose of Accreditation a company must document its practices in a
Quality Manual, defining its Operating Procedures/Processes, Objectives and
Policy for achieving them, these documents are assessed to ensure they
fulfil the criteria of the standard & satisfactorily envelop all elements of
the companies operations. When the documentation is found satisfactory, the
company is then audited to ensure they are complying with all elements of
their documentation, and that their System is successfully managing all
aspects of their business. On satisfactory conclusion of this process a
company is Certificated, Accredited with operating to a system which is
compliant to the essence of the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
Companies are reassessed annually to ensure they are maintaining their
system in compliance with the Standard.
